Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Chicago' for 'CDT/-5.0/DST' instead in /backup/qa/www/sub/rss/product.php on line 32

It works so well and easy to use. Only one thing didn't like it was after the file go split, the file name created as bigfile.txt.12. I wish it get crested as bigfile.12.txt

Thank you for a simple program that does just what I needed. I used a camcorder that had a hard drive and each time I stopped the unit to move to a new location it started a new file.
ON my Win Vista I noticed the follwoing issues:
1. When selecting different destination drives, the capacity information does not update, additionally the REFRESH button has no effect.
2. The pre-defined size for a DVD+-R is too large.
3. I couldn't successfully split a 11Gb file directly onto multiple DVDs, although I could split it into the same folder.
4. I noticed several bug reports on re-uniting the split files, bt as yet haven't gotten time to test that on my splits.
